Decotex-India is the concern of Harimann Exim who is engaged in the exclusive business of home textile exports for the last ten years. The purpose of separate portal namely decotex-india.com is to cater to end customers in India and abroad with separate care and attention. The company is located in New Delhi, India.

About our Products :
What does Decotex-India offer?
Our range of products include: Bed-linen (Bedspreads, Bedcovers, Bed-sheets, Pillow-covers, Cushion Covers), Table-linen (Table cloth, Table mats, Table Runners, Napkins), Curtains, Throws, Dhurries and Rugs. Our products are both hand-woven and machine woven and hand-block printed. We mainly make 100% cotton variety with some products in silks also.

Decotex-india.com makes it possible for you to buy a range of home textile items for your self and send gifts for your dear ones residing in the other parts of the world. Through this service, you can order from the choicest items shown on the site while making the payment online. The Items will be delivered at an approximate time and address given by you, according to your specifications.

Do Decotex-India sizes conform to international norms?
There are no true international norms for home textiles as every country and company tends to have its own sizing standards. Please refer to our SIZE CHART (in ”Product Care” link) where we have suggested basic guidelines of how our sizing compares to other international sizing. The best approach is to take your own measurements and compare these to our measurement charts.

Can I phone or fax my order?
No, orders are accepted only online after securing your payment through the credit card information submitted by you.

How do I feel sure that you have correctly registered /received the order placed?
After you have placed the order, you will get an e-mail confirming each order registered with us. Please check your e-mail and if you want any correction, you are requested to get in touch with us.

Is my credit card number / bank A/c number secure?
Your Credit Card details are accepted through the SSL protocol. All transactions are secured, powered by SSL encryption capable of processing Credit Card transactions insuring that the information is encrypted before it is transmitted

Will you share my information with others?
No, we will not share your information with others. For more details, please read our “Privacy Policy”

What if an item is out of stock?
We make every effort to keep all products in stock. However, there may be times when unexpected demands exceed our supply. If you place an order for an item, which is not in stock, we will inform you through an email and credit your credit card within three business days of purchase. We will not retain your request for an out of stock product in a back order system. In the future, we hope to be able to notify you when an out of stock item becomes available which would allow you to place a new order for this product

Are the items shipped as per the display on web page?
The products will match the image on the website. The product specifications (weight, size, color etc.) mentioned /shown with the product photos are as accurate and closer to the original items as technically possible. Most products here are hand-woven and hand made items. There may hence be a slight variation sometimes in the pictures and the respective products. At the same time decotex-india.com will make all possible efforts to make its services delightful for both the buyer and the receiver of the items/ gift. Note: Accessories shown (if any) are not a part of the product

How can I modify my order?
You can modify your order at any time DURING the shopping process by editing / modifying your shopping cart. Once you confirm payment for the items in your shopping cart, the order is considered as final and cannot be modified.

Order Cancellation, exchanges, Returns
Order once confirmed cannot be cancelled. We do not entertain / encourage exchanges and /or returns. Hence we request you to kindly be decisive and be sure while shopping and before submitting the order confirmation. In the rare cases of any gross manufacturing defect, we will accept returns in proper condition (subject to Product properties, Wash Care, Color fastness levels & Size chart as explained in our website – kindly read same carefully to familiarize about the product properties). How ever this may be considered in rarest of rare cases only

What is Wish list?
The product that you wish to add to the cart, can be the one marked as sold out. Or you may like to have a personalized wish, for a product / category not present on the portal. You will be informed by mail when the product is available on the portal

Billing and Payments :

Which are the credit cards accepted?
At present we accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards (both Indian and International) only. But soon we will be coming up with host of other payment options.

What are the other Payment Options?

Does decotex-india.com use SSL encryption?
Yes. Our shopping-cart software runs in Secure Mode on the customer's browser, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt sensitive data such as credit card numbers. While selecting products and adding them to the Shopping Cart, the customer is in Non-Secure Mode. After he/she presses the Pay-Now button, we switch to Secure Mode in order to collect the billing and shipping information.

All modern Web browsers support the SSL standard.

What currency will my order be billed in?
Your order will be billed in the currency of your debit / credit card. All the prices shown on our website would be in US$ or INR depending on the ordering and delivery location. For all deliveries in India, you would view and pay the Indian Rupee prices, while for all international deliveries outside of India, you would view the US$ prices.

Shipping :
Where all can decotex-india.com deliver items/ gifts?
decotex-india.com can deliver items / gifts to almost all towns within India (subject to availability of Courier service there) and to selected countries abroad. Please click “Shipping” link for knowing available shipping destinations. You may place orders from anywhere in the world while making payment online.

What is the mode of delivery?
Delivery of items / gifts is made through renowned courier services

How much time do you take to deliver after the payment has been made?
We shall deliver your items / gift within 5-8 working days (for within India) and 7-10 days (for outside India) of securing your payment or on the approximate delivery date mentioned by you in the order form, whichever is later.

How do I know that my items / gift has been shipped?
Confirmation through e-mail shall be sent to you after your item / gift has been shipped.

Do you deliver to locations outside India?
Yes, Kindly refer to our shipping destinations in the “Shipping” link

What is the shipping cost / shipping charges?
Domestic shipping : For dispatches within India there is no shipping charge to be paid additionally. All our prices are gross prices and are inclusive of shipping charges. You would pay only prices listed in the website.

International Shipping : For dispatches outside India, shipping charges NOT INCLUDED in the prices listed in the website and need to be paid separately. Net weight of each item is indicated in the product page itself. With this you can calculate total Net weight of your selected products. For actual Gross weight please add 2 to 3kgs (depending on the size of the shipment) over to the calculated Net weight for Packaging weight). For knowing cost of courier charges, you may refer to our page /link of “International Courier Charges”. In this case, payment is done in TWO parts. Firstly you pay only the net cost of products. On your confirmation and payment, you will receive an invoice by e-Mail from us for courier charges and this e-Mail will include link to payment gate. On clicking this link you would be able pay this second part of payment with your Credit /Debit cards towards courier charges. On your making this 2nd part of payment, shipping will be processed

Will I be charged for customs charges in case of international shipping?
All orders are shipped internationally from our center in New Delhi, India to your provided shipping address via FEDEX Courier. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, you will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with FEDEX to customs clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice from FEDEX for import duties and taxes, you will have to pay FEDEX directly at the time of delivery.

Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?
Once we receive your order, we take approximately 5 working days to process your order before handing it over to Courier Service. If you would like to change your shipping address for an order, which you have already placed, we will try to accommodate your requests if we still have the package in our possession. Please contact us by E-mail (info@decotex-india.com or decotex@vsnl.net) with your requested change and we will send you an email reply to confirm if we were able to make the change. If we have already handed your order over to courier service then we are unable to make any shipping address changes. Please note that we will not be able to change the address of an order placed for India delivery to International delivery or visa versa since the pricing for India and international deliveries is different from each other.

Can my order ship to a Post Office Box?
No. Since we offer door-to-door deliveries through courier service you must provide only full address details with contact numbers including a street address etc for the shipping address

Can I ship different items in my order to different shipping addresses?
We can only process one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different people, please treat these as separate orders

Do you ship backorders?
No. We aim to keep every item on our website in stock. If there is an item which you purchase and then we realize this item is not available, we will promptly inform you within 3 working days of your purchase and fully refund your money for the out of stock item.

Will I be charged for Octroi or Entry taxes in case of domestic shipping?
All orders are shipped within India from our center in New Delhi, India to your provided shipping address via Courier service. Due to the nature of interstate shipping, you may have to pay additional duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your state. The majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional duties or taxes are assessed, customer will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with courier co to clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice/receipt from courier co for any duties and taxes, you will have to pay them directly at the time of delivery.

Why was my package undeliverable?
In case of International and domestic shipping the courier service would attempt delivery 2 times at the delivery address specified by you in the order, before they contact us that your package is not deliverable. If you have not received the package, you can track the package at Customer Service of the courier co at their local number and quote your tracking number to trace your package. Here are some possible reasons why your package may be determined undeliverable by courier

Incorrect Address : We do not take responsibility if the delivery address provided by you is incorrect or outdated. If a package is returned to us because the address is incorrect or outdated we will consider the order status as closed, and no refund will be issued. Please carefully check to make sure that you have provided a current and correct shipping address.

Address Format : If you provide us a Post Office Box for your shipping address, Courier service will be unable to deliver your package. We will try to catch this problem prior to shipping. If a package is returned to us because the address is incorrect or outdated we will consider the order status as closed, and no refund will be issued. Please make sure that you do not provide a Post Office Box address for your shipping address.

Failed Delivery Attempts : Courier service will make two attempts to deliver your package. If any duties or taxes are due, then courier service will require payment at the time of delivery. If you are generally not home during delivery hours, please use a shipping address where someone will be available to sign for the package.

Refused by Recipient : If you are sending a gift to someone and they refuse to accept the package because they think it is being sent to them in error, then the package will be returned to us as undeliverable. By informing your gift recipient that they should expect a package you will help us ensure that they receive your gift.
